Growth Initiatives for Decathlon in India
Decathlon has consistently hovered around the Rs 4,000 crore revenue threshold in recent years. To break this ceiling, the company is focused on expanding its presence in more cities and states, an initiative already underway. Additionally, plans are in place to grow in European markets and increase exports for products made in India, potentially unlocking new avenues for growth. The India-EU Free Trade Agreement may provide further support, contingent on the outcome of the negotiations. Introducing more product categories and appealing items to Indian consumers will also be pivotal as Decathlon strives to reach the Rs 5,000 crore revenue milestone.
