About FarmDidi
Established in 2022 by Manjari Sharma, Anukrit Johari, and Asmita Ghodeshwar, FarmDidi allows rural women to craft homemade, chemical-free pickles and condiments directly at the farmgate. The brand combines traditional recipes with contemporary food safety protocols to produce clean-label items that maintain the genuine flavours of Indian kitchens while adhering to modern quality standards.
Vision and Growth
Manjari Sharma, the CEO of FarmDidi, expressed that the foundation of the company lies in the belief that food from grandmothers’ kitchens can empower countless women. The announcement of funding brings an opportunity to reinforce research and development, scale women-led micro-units, and continue providing consumers with access to traceable, tested, and truly authentic homemade food. The brand aims to become a household name while creating sustainable livelihoods at a larger scale.
Funding Success on Shark Tank India
FarmDidi made headlines on Shark Tank India Season 3, where it secured a funding agreement of Rs 1 crore from judges Vineeta Singh and Peyush Bansal. The brand claims impressive growth, operating at an annual recurring revenue of Rs 18 crore and fulfilling over 30,000 orders each month.
