SEBI Issues Warning to Ola Electric
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued a cautionary statement to Ola Electric for flouting disclosure regulations. The warning indicates that the company’s Chairman and Managing Director, Bhavish Aggarwal, disclosed the firm’s store expansion plans via social media prior to informing the stock exchanges. On December 2, Aggarwal announced plans for Ola Electric to establish 3,200 stores by December 20 to bolster its store count to 4,000 amidst a declining market share.
