Furnishka Secures Rs 26.8 Crore in Pre-Series A Funding Round
Furnishka is raising Rs 26.8 crore in an extended pre-Series A round, with notable investors like Alakh Pandey and Prateek Boob from PhysicsWallah and Udaan co-founder Sujeet Kumar contributing, according to regulatory documents reviewed by Startup Superb. The Bengaluru-based firm is issuing 3,183 preference shares, priced at Rs 84,157 each, to accumulate the necessary capital.
Investors in the Funding Round
This funding round has seen contributions from several prominent investors, including Beenext Asia, Bhaarath Sang, Onyx InVen, Amit Jain, Shantanu Jain, Manish Dugar, Mohit Gupta, and Jnabiz Consulting. Bhaarath Sang is the primary investor in this round, investing Rs 10.3 crore. Beenext Asia is contributing Rs 3.35 crore, with Onyx InVen and Amit Jain each investing Rs 2.37 crore. Mohit Gupta and Jnabiz Consulting are each providing approximately Rs 2 crore, while Sujeet Kumar’s investment stands at about Rs 1 crore. Additionally, Alakh Pandey and Prateek Boob will each invest Rs 1.14 crore, while Shantanu Jain and Manish Dugar’s investments are pegged at Rs 94.3 lakh and Rs 15.1 lakh, respectively.
Overview of the Funding Round
This funding is considered part of a larger financial initiative. A significant portion of the mentioned funds has already been deposited into the bank account, with the remaining amount expected shortly. Based on the issue price and share capital, Startup Superb estimates Furnishka’s post-money valuation to be around Rs 230 crore.
Total Funds Raised by Furnishka
With this latest funding, Furnishka has successfully raised Rs 70 crore to date. The company previously raised Rs 27 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by IndiaQuotient in October 2024, with participation from Sparrow Capital and several angel investors, including Sujeet Kumar and Ramakant Sharma.
