GoOAT Secures Pre-Seed Funding for Expansion
D2C nutrition brand GoOAT has successfully completed a pre-seed funding round led by D2C Insider Super Angels, with the investment amount remaining undisclosed. This funding round attracted a notable group of investors including Deep Bajaj, the founder of Sirona, Mohit Bajaj, the co-founder of Sirona, Dhruv Kohli, who founded Boba Bhai, Shiv Dhawan, founder of First Coffee, Akash Gupta, who established Zpyy Electric, Vikram Ahuja of HomeGuru, Gagan Malhotra, a leader at Swiggy Dineout, and Sanchit Garg, the operations manager at Amazon.
The funds raised will be directed towards GoOAT’s ambitions to broaden its product range and enhance research and development efforts specifically designed for the Indian market.
Founded by Yash Kalra, GoOAT offers quick breakfast and snacking solutions with its unique, ready-in-30-seconds formula. This brand aims to meet the needs of health-conscious consumers by providing nutritious yet delicious meal options.
In October of the previous year, D2C Insider invested as much as Rs 1 crore each in three early-stage startups: The Paan Legacy, Hemptyful, and Polr.Care.
