Funding and Growth Trajectory of Gupshup

In 2024, Gupshup made the tough decision to lay off around 300 employees as part of a restructuring strategy aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and achieving profitable growth following a rapid expansion phase.
Although the company has yet to disclose its financial results for FY24 and FY25, it previously reported a revenue of Rs 1,619 crore and a profit of Rs 49 crore in FY23. Analysts estimate that Gupshup concluded FY24 with revenues nearing $300 million, equivalent to approximately Rs 2,500 crore.
