Gushwork, an AI-driven platform for B2B marketing, has successfully raised $9 million in a funding round led by Susquehanna Asia VC. Other participants in this round include Lightspeed, B Capital, Seaborne Capital, Beenext, Sparrow Capital, and 2.2 Capital. The Bengaluru-based startup had earlier secured $2.1 million during a pre-seed funding round in July 2023, also led by Lightspeed, with participation from B Capital, Sparrow Capital, Seaborne Capital, and Beenext.

The funds from this latest round will be directed towards enhancing product development, refining the accuracy of its AI agents, expanding engineering teams, and scaling its go-to-market strategies, as stated by Gushwork in a press release.

Co-founded in 2023 by Nayrhit Bhattacharya and Adithya Venkatesh, Gushwork offers a unique platform for B2B marketing aimed at assisting small and medium businesses (SMBs) and manufacturers in acquiring customers through AI-enhanced SEO techniques. The platform effectively merges Generative AI with human industry knowledge to facilitate lead generation from search engines including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google.

The company claims that over 300 businesses worldwide are actively using its platform, with an additional 800 waiting to join. The startup’s AI agents work to ensure that business websites are recommended when potential buyers pose inquiries on various platforms.

On average, customers typically begin receiving around 10-15 qualified sales inquiries each month within three to four months of deployment. This influx generally stems from approximately 100,000 to 200,000 impressions generated through the content produced. Generally, three to four of these inquiries lead to conversions, resulting in an estimated return on investment (RoI) of $30,000 to $50,000 for a monthly expenditure of $1,500 to $2,000.

According to the startup, 80% of its customers experience up to a 500% increase in website impressions and a 50% rise in incoming leads within 60 days of implementation.
