Hunar.AI, a platform focused on AI-driven workforce solutions, has successfully secured Rs 39.3 crore during its Series A funding round. This round was led by Blume Ventures, with additional contributions from Seedstars, Hyderabad Angels Fund, and co-founders of Physics Wallah, Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari.

As per the company’s filing, Hunar.AI had previously raised approximately Rs 18 crore in a pre-Series A round led by existing investor Together Fund. The board of Hunar.AI approved a resolution to issue 5,206 compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) at a price of Rs 75,492 per share to raise Rs 39.30 crore in new capital, according to regulatory filings accessed by Startup Superb.

The investment by Blume Ventures totals Rs 29 crore, followed by Seedstars at Rs 3.31 crore and Hyderabad Angels Fund at Rs 3 crore. AVNM Ventures has invested Rs 2 crore, whereas both Prateek Maheshwari and Alakh Pandey placed Rs 1 crore each into the funding round.

Estimates from Startup Superb indicate that Hunar.AI’s valuation has increased by over 71%, now standing at Rs 180 crore or roughly $19 million, compared to Rs 105 crore from the pre-Series A round. The funds will be used for working capital, capital expenditures, operational needs, and business growth, as stated in the filings.

Established in 2022 by Krishna Khandelwal and Shantanu Bhattacharyya, Hunar.AI offers AI-powered voice agents to streamline frontline workforce operations such as hiring, onboarding, training, and employee engagement. The startup utilises multilingual voice AI to enhance recruitment and workforce management for various businesses.

In March 2026, Prateek Boob, a co-founder of Physics Wallah, invested Rs 25 crore in Newton School as part of its ongoing Series B funding. The company is yet to submit its financial statements for FY26. Hunar.AI reported operational revenue of Rs 1.70 crore in FY25, an increase from Rs 47 lakh in FY24. Nonetheless, its losses escalated to Rs 5.56 crore in FY25.
