ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund Increases Stake in Brainbees Solutions

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has successfully increased its shareholding in Brainbees Solutions, crossing the 5% threshold after a recent share acquisition through its various investment schemes, as stated in a regulatory filing. On February 16, 2026, the mutual fund acquired 2,00,210 equity shares of Brainbees, valued at approximately Rs 4.6 crore. Following this transaction, the fund now holds a total of 2,62,47,897 shares in the company, equating to a 5.028% stake.

Prior to this acquisition, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund owned 2,60,47,687 shares, representing 4.990% of the company’s paid-up capital. The recent purchase signifies an addition of around 0.038% to Brainbees’ equity.

In its disclosure, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund highlighted that this investment is motivated purely by financial interests and does not intend to secure any controlling stake in Brainbees Solutions.

Financial Performance of FirstCry

In the realm of financial performance, FirstCry reported a rise in revenue from operations, climbing to Rs 2,424 crore in Q3 FY26 compared to Rs 2,172 crore in Q3 FY25. However, the company also experienced a significant rise in losses, which surged by 153% to reach Rs 38 crore in Q3 FY26.

Current Market Valuation of FirstCry

As of 11:19 AM, FirstCry’s share price is trading at Rs 220.25 per share, with a total market capitalization estimated at Rs 14,096 crore, roughly equivalent to $1.2 billion.
