iHub Robotics Secures Funding for Humanoid Robotics Innovation

iHub Robotics Funding Overview

iHub Robotics, a pioneering startup in humanoid robotics, has successfully acquired Rs 4.3 crore (approximately $520K) in a pre-seed funding round sourced from investors in the U.S. This funding follows a significant achievement earlier in October 2023, where the company raised $20 million during the same round.

Investment Utilization for Robotics Manufacturing in Kerala

The newly acquired funds will be directed towards establishing manufacturing facilities for humanoid robotics in Kerala. This initiative aligns with iHub Robotics’s vision of positioning India as a leader in robotics and AI-driven automation, as highlighted in a recent press release from the company.

About iHub Robotics

Founded in 2021 by Athil Krishna, Akhil K Haridasan, and Sarath S, iHub Robotics is at the forefront of developing intelligent robotics solutions that are transforming business operations. The company’s goal is to revolutionise various industries through advanced technology, enhancing productivity, lowering expenses, and increasing operational efficiency.

International Impact and Product Offerings

iHub Robotics claims to have made noteworthy strides on a global scale, particularly with its semi-humanoid robot, Tara Gen-1, which has been exported to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Recognised as the most sophisticated semi-humanoid robot in India, Tara Gen-1 is built on the latest advancements in AI and robotics technology.

This robot is designed to function in multiple settings including hospitality, healthcare, airports, railway stations, and various customer service roles, aiming to boost efficiency and automate processes across these sectors.

Advanced Features of Tara Gen-1

Tara Gen-1 is equipped with state-of-the-art human behaviour intelligence, which enables it to identify and respond to human emotions. It engages in natural dialogue through AI-driven speech recognition and adjusts to various environments, utilising real-time decision-making abilities. This robot aids customers with navigation, answering questions, and providing personalised services while efficiently operating in multi-language contexts.

Empowering Future Innovators

The company is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of innovators in AI and robotics. To this end, iHub Robotics has launched the iHub School of Learning, a dedicated platform aimed at educating and training students in these fields, with an ambitious mission to equip 100,000 students with essential skills for the future in deep technology.
