Leadership Reshuffle at Info Edge

Leadership advancement at Info Edge, the parent entity of Naukri, includes the appointment of Naresh Chand Gupta, the previous Managing Director of Adobe Systems India, as an independent director. Himanshu Agarwal has also been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Gupta is set to begin his five-year term on the board starting October 1, pending shareholder approval.

Currently, Gupta holds positions with Accuracap Technologies and Accuracap Consultancy Services and serves as an independent director for both eClerx Services and NoPaperForms. Notably, he previously served as an independent director at Info Edge until March 2023.

Himanshu Agarwal’s Appointment

Agarwal will officially take over as CFO on September 17 and will also join the board as an additional director. He is anticipated to become a whole-time director and CFO, pending necessary approvals. With over 30 years of expertise in finance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation, Agarwal’s experience spans numerous companies across India and internationally.

Interim CFO Transition

Ambarish Raghuvanshi will conclude his role as Info Edge’s interim CFO as part of the leadership transition. Having held this position since November 2025, his final day will be September 16. Despite stepping down, Raghuvanshi will remain connected with Info Edge as a finance advisor until October 31, aiding in the transition process to Agarwal.

Committees and Future Focus

Agarwal is also set to join Info Edge’s Risk Management Committee and the Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting Committee. The organisation believes these leadership changes will enhance its financial strategies and executive capabilities, allowing it to maintain focus on its internet ventures and technology investments.
