Kissht Reports Impressive Growth in FY27

Kissht, a digital lending platform, has announced its first quarterly results for the fiscal year ending March 2027. The company experienced an impressive 45% year-on-year increase in operating revenue during the quarter, with its profit rising by 58% to Rs 95 crore. According to its consolidated financial statement sourced from NSE, Kissht’s revenue from operations surged to Rs 670 crore in Q1 FY27, up from Rs 463 crore in Q1 FY26.

About Kissht’s Growth

Established in 2015 by Ranvir Singh and Krishnan Vishwanathan, Kissht focuses on small-ticket consumer loans and has rapidly expanded its reach through collaborations with merchants across various sectors including electronics, fashion, and travel. The primary source of revenue for the company remains interest income from its loans, although a detailed breakdown of revenue for the quarter was not provided.

Additional Revenue Sources

Alongside its operational revenue, Kissht generated Rs 7 crore from non-operating sources, bringing its total revenue to Rs 677 crore. The company continued to strengthen its lending business during the quarter, with assets under management (AUM) growing by 61% year-on-year and 13% sequentially to reach Rs 8,001 crore. With over 12.25 million customers served, representing a 26% increase from the previous year, Kissht’s off-book AUM reached Rs 4,284 crore, making up 53.6% of its total portfolio, demonstrating its capital-light partnership strategy.

Financial Overview

Impairment on financial instruments remains one of the significant expenses for the fintech platform, constituting over 23% of the total cost. This expense rose by 28% year on year to Rs 128 crore in Q1 FY27, while finance costs saw a 39% increase to Rs 82 crore. Employee benefit expenses were recorded at Rs 71 crore, and expenditures on marketing, legal and professional services, as well as IT, led to a total rise in the company’s overall expenditure by 42% year on year to Rs 549 crore in Q1 FY27 compared to Rs 386 crore during the same period last year.

Profit Performance

The solid revenue growth enabled the Mumbai-based company to achieve a 58% year-on-year profit increase to Rs 95 crore in Q1 FY27. On a sequential basis, this profit marked a 16% rise from Rs 82 crore in the previous quarter (Q4 FY26).

By the end of trading on Wednesday, Kissht’s shares were valued at Rs 343.45, resulting in a market capitalization of Rs 5,796 crore ($610 million).
