Boldfit Secures Significant Series B Funding for Nationwide Growth

Boldfit, a prominent homegrown sports brand, has successfully raised over Rs 400 crore (approximately $42 million) in a recent Series B funding round, primarily led by Bharat Value Fund, managed by The Wealth Company Alternates, which is a part of the Pantomath Group. This round also saw participation from existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners.

Funding History and Current Plans

This Bengaluru-based startup previously raised Rs 110 crore, or around $13 million, in a funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners in November 2024. Additionally, Boldfit secured $8.37 million from its existing investors, including KL Rahul. The new capital will be channelled towards accelerating growth, with a keen focus on nationwide retail expansion, product innovation, and enhanced manufacturing capabilities. Boldfit also plans to explore selective inorganic growth opportunities to bolster its presence across various categories, as stated in a recent press release.

Company Overview

Co-founded in 2018 by Pallav Bihani and Aasshna Guptaa, Boldfit operates as an e-commerce platform, providing a wide range of sports and fitness products. Categories include apparel, fitness equipment, nutritional supplements, and accessories. The company’s diverse portfolio encompasses sports like basketball, cycling, football, volleyball, badminton, and cricket, featuring over 400 products.

Customer Reach and Future Goals

Boldfit serves more than 2 crore customers on an annual basis. The company is fortifying its integrated product development and manufacturing capabilities, emphasising innovation, high quality, and sustainable competitive advantages. Boldfit aspires to build a sports brand that caters to a billion Indians through strategic product innovation, manufacturing, and extensive distribution.

Financial Performance

The company has not yet submitted its financials for FY26. However, its operating revenue surged by 2.17 times to reach Rs 304 crore in FY25 compared to Rs 140 crore in FY24. Furthermore, profits experienced a significant increase, rising 2.08 times to Rs 35 crore in FY25 from Rs 16.82 crore in the preceding fiscal year.

Funding Trends in the Sports and Fitness Sector

In the broader sports and fitness market, Agilitas, another sportswear platform, raised Rs 225 crore from Nexus Venture Partners and Rainmatter, the investment arm of Zerodha, in June 2026. These funds will enhance its manufacturing, brand-building, retail, and technology capabilities. Meanwhile, PlayBlue secured $2.7 million in seed funding in July 2026 from Centre Court Capital, MIXI Global, and WEH Ventures to launch its omnichannel sports retail enterprise, which will encompass a pan-India e-commerce platform and flagship stores.
