Honasa Consumer, the company behind Mamaearth, has shared the news of Yatish Bhargava’s resignation from his position as Chief Business Officer. This announcement comes in less than a year of his appointment. According to a filing made to the stock exchange on Friday, Bhargava’s departure is attributed to personal circumstances, effective from the end of the business day on May 15, 2026.
He joined the Gurugram-based firm in June of last year after the role had remained unfilled since February 28, following the exit of Zairus Master, who also left due to personal reasons. Upon his joining, Honasa named Bhargava as Chief Business Officer and a member of the Senior Management team.
Bhargava brought a wealth of experience to the company, with over 17 years in profit and loss management and leading substantial teams in general trade, modern trade, and e-commerce. Before his tenure at Honasa, he had held senior leadership roles at both Flipkart and Hindustan Unilever Limited.
On the financial side, Honasa has reported a year-on-year operating revenue increase of 16.2%, with figures reaching Rs 602 crore in Q3 FY26, up from Rs 518 crore during the same quarter last year. The company’s profit after tax almost doubled to Rs 50 crore in this quarter, compared to Rs 26 crore in Q3 FY25.
Looking ahead, Honasa has projected revenue growth in the late twenties for Q4 FY26, with the results pending submission. According to the company, its flagship brand Mamaearth is expected to experience growth in the teens for the upcoming quarter. Additionally, newer brands like The Derma Co., Aqualogica, BBlunt, Dr. Sheth’s, Staze, and Lumineve are anticipated to achieve growth in the mid-twenties range.
