Lehlah: Innovative Content-Commerce Platform for Influencers
Lehlah, an emerging content-commerce platform, is transforming the way influencers earn money through product recommendations. Recently, Lehlah has secured Rs 12.5 crore (approximately $1.46 million) in a seed funding round. This round was spearheaded by Gruhas, a prominent investment firm established by Nikhil Kamath of Zerodha and Abhijeet Pai of Puzzolana Group.
The funds raised will be utilised to roll out additional features, expand the team, and solidify Lehlah’s presence in India’s rapidly growing influencer-led shopping sector.
Founded in December 2022 by Ashna Ruia, who is the daughter of Prashant Ruia from Essar Group, Lehlah collaborates with leading e-commerce platforms such as Myntra, Meesho, Flipkart, and Nykaa, as well as direct-to-consumer brands like Libas and Foxtale. Initially concentrating on fashion and beauty, the platform is now broadening its scope to incorporate home accessories and gadgets.
The Lehlah brand operates with a dedicated team of 50 members, with its marketing operations based in Mumbai and its technology team located in Bengaluru.
Lehlah employs a commission-based model, where brands compensate the platform for sales generated through influencers. Currently, influencers associated with Lehlah are earning between Rs 50,000 and Rs 1,00,000 monthly, demonstrating the platform’s capability to foster sustainable income for content creators.
