Honasa Consumer Financial Results for Q1 FY27

Honasa Consumer, the company behind Mamaearth, has disclosed its financial performance for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027 (Q1 FY27). The period saw a significant 27% increase in its scale compared to the previous year, and profits more than doubled, reaching Rs 90 crore, marking the highest quarterly profit achieved so far.

The revenue generated from operations surged to Rs 756 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to Rs 595 crore reported in Q1 FY26, as revealed in the financial statements accessed via the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). While a detailed revenue breakdown was not provided, the company also gained Rs 22.5 crore from non-operating activities, elevating its total revenue to Rs 778 crore in the same quarter.

According to a letter shared with shareholders, Honasa’s recent acquisition of the men’s grooming brand Reginald Men has more than doubled since the takeover, now boasting an annual revenue run rate exceeding Rs 150 crore.

Cost Analysis for the D2C Brand

For the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brand, the cost of materials constituted the primary expense, which rose by 34% year-on-year to Rs 229 crore from the previous Rs 171 crore. Employee benefit costs also saw a 10% rise to Rs 66 crore, up from Rs 60 crore. The overall expenses for Honasa surged to Rs 659 crore in Q1 FY27, climbing from Rs 564 crore in the same quarter the previous year.

Profitability and EBITDA Performance

On the profit side, Honasa Consumer reported a substantial more than 2X increase in profits to Rs 90.45 crore in Q1 FY27, a jump from Rs 41.33 crore noted in Q1 FY26. Additionally, EBITDA for the quarter also doubled, reaching Rs 110 crore, with an EBITDA margin calculated at 14%.

In terms of sequential changes, revenue from operations improved by 15% from Rs 657 crore in Q4 FY26, while profits increased by 30.3% from Rs 69.44 crore.

Mamaearth’s stock concluded Thursday’s trading session at Rs 479.45 per share, attributing a market capitalisation of around Rs 15,255 crore to the company.

In June 2026, the parent company of Mamaearth, Honasa Consumer, acquired a 58% stake in nutraceuticals enterprise Fluence Pharma at an estimated enterprise value of approximately Rs 135 crore.
