Molbio Diagnostics IPO Debut: A 21.44% Premium Listing
Molbio Diagnostics made a notable entrance on the stock exchanges on Monday, with its shares listing at a 21.44% premium compared to the IPO price. The shares commenced trading at Rs 980 on both the NSE and BSE, against an issue price of Rs 807. This successful listing followed significant investor interest in Molbio’s Rs 939.7 crore IPO, which was available for subscription from August 10 to 12, and saw a subscription rate of approximately 70.27 times.
Details of the IPO
The IPO featured a fresh issue of Rs 200 crore, while the remaining Rs 739.7 crore was attributed to an offer for sale from existing shareholders. Molbio established the IPO price band at Rs 768-807 per share, accompanied by a lot size of 18 shares. For retail investors, a minimum investment of Rs 14,526 was required at the upper price band.
