Mythik Appoints Sidharth Kedia as Chief Operating Officer

Mythik, an innovative entertainment venture established by former Housing.com CEO Jason Kothari, has welcomed Sidharth Kedia as its Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Kedia will oversee operations and strategic finance for the company.

Kedia brings a wealth of experience in media, entertainment, and gaming, previously serving as the Head of Jio Games. He has also held roles as the Chief Strategy Officer of Viacom 18 and CEO of Nodwin, renowned as South Asia’s foremost esports company. Additionally, Kedia worked at Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s office, leading the Project Management Office for Jio’s telecom launch and managing the integration of Network 18 into Reliance Industries Limited (RIL).

Kedia expressed his enthusiasm for Mythik, stating that Jason’s ambitious vision for the company resonates with how Kedia has long perceived the immense potential of a mythological universe from both creative and business perspectives. He shared that the enchanting stories told by his grandparents have always fascinated him, and as an avid Marvel admirer, he has often wondered why Eastern superheroes have not received the global recognition they deserve. Mythik aims to change this narrative.

Positioned as a tech-first global entertainment company, Mythik aspires to introduce Eastern mythology, history, and folktales to global audiences for the first time, with a mission to become the ‘Disney from the East.’ Following its launch in April, the company successfully secured $15 million in seed funding from a variety of investors, including Sakal Media Group, BITKRAFT, VC Grid, Visceral Capital, Jason Kothari, as well as Shah Rukh Khan’s family office and others.
