Sorry Sugar Appoints New CEO Palash Arneja
Sorry Sugar, a brand recognised for its zero-added-sugar beverages, has brought Palash Arneja on board as its Founder and CEO. Arneja’s impressive background includes the incubation of Sorry Sugar with Wolfpack Labs, and he will now be pivotal in shaping the product, distribution, and business growth strategies.
Recent Funding Boost for Sorry Sugar
This appointment follows a successful seed funding round in which Sorry Sugar raised $1 million. The funding was led by the Dhanuka family alongside Amishi London, marking a significant step for the brand.
Palash Arneja’s Experience
Before his role at Sorry Sugar, Arneja propelled BLA BLI BLU to remarkable heights, achieving a valuation of Rs 1,000 crore within just one year. His experience also includes valuable tenures at Unikon.ai, Deloitte, and HSBC.
Current Offerings and Future Plans
Sorry Sugar currently focuses on the flavoured coffee segment, providing products that are marketed as zero-added-sugar, prebiotic, and rich in fibre. The brand utilises monk fruit as a sweetener, complemented by prebiotic fibre to enhance its product line.
Expanding Market Presence
Plans are in place for Sorry Sugar to enhance its reach both online and offline. Additionally, the brand aims to diversify beyond coffee, branching into other everyday consumption categories. Under Arneja’s leadership, the company will oversee product development, market expansion, and an overarching business strategy to further its objectives.
From Incubation to Growth
Initially nurtured within Wolfpack Labs, Sorry Sugar is now set to develop a wider portfolio aimed at lowering added sugar in daily consumption. With Arneja at the helm, the brand is poised for significant growth in the Indian market.
