About BazaarNow
Established in January this year by Priyanshu Jain, Arjun Harish, and Tarithnay Mandal, BazaarNow concentrates on delivering everyday groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, daily necessities, local brands, and regional selections to middle-class families in tier II and tier III cities across India. This Bengaluru-based startup blends a vernacular-first app experience with AI-driven local-language search, supportive shopping options, and a customised logistics system tailored to the nature of smaller Indian markets.
Product Features and User Experience
BazaarNow focuses on local selections, regional brands, fresh produce, straightforward ordering processes, and transparent pricing. According to the company’s findings, their product aims to streamline grocery shopping, eliminating complicated discount systems, coupons, or payment wallets. Additionally, it provides assisted shopping features, including call-to-order assistance, for customers who prefer a more traditional buying process.
Supply Chain and Operational Efficiency
The organization is enhancing its supply chain to ensure faster inventory turnover, especially for fruits and vegetables, thereby improving the freshness and reliability of their offerings in local markets. In its initial pilot city, BazaarNow reports scaling up to over 1,800 daily orders per store, validating the demand for localized products and effective fulfilment within smaller urban clusters.
Future Expansion Plans
In the upcoming 6 to 12 months, BazaarNow intends to broaden its reach into surrounding towns and nearby population hubs. The company plans to diversify its range of groceries and daily essentials, reinforce its supply chain, and continue developing its local-language and user-friendly product experience.
