Qila Games Achieves $1 Million in Pre-Seed Funding

Qila Games, a hybrid-casual gaming startup, has successfully secured $1 million in pre-seed funding, spearheaded by Chimera VC. In addition to Chimera, other esteemed investors including Visceral Capital, Atrium Angels, Ventatana Ventures, 91 Ventures, Untitled Ventures, and various angel investors have joined the funding round.

The funds will be allocated to the development of new intellectual properties (IPs), the expansion of the game portfolio, and the enhancement of technology and design capabilities.

Established in 2024 by Dhananjai Hari and Neeraj Mishra, Qila Games is dedicated to creating hybrid-casual games. This genre merges the straightforward nature of casual gaming with the complexity found in mid-core games.

Recently, mobile game publisher Felicity Games completed a seed funding round, raising $3 million with the backing of 3one4 Capital. Furthermore, in February, Triple Tap Games obtained $1.2 million in funding led by Eximius Ventures and Kalaari Capital.
