Engineered sustainable packaging firm Econovus Packaging has successfully raised Rs 40 crore during a pre-Series A funding round, which was spearheaded by Rainmatter, part of Zerodha. Notable participation also came from Rockstud Capital. The newly acquired funds are intended to facilitate expansion into rapidly growing sectors, thereby broadening its sustainable packaging offerings across the automotive industry, lithium-ion batteries, solar infrastructure, steel, defence, and wider industrial supply chains, according to a press release from Econovus.
