Razorpay Collaborates with OpenAI for ChatGPT Advertising in India
Razorpay has joined forces with OpenAI to assist brands in India in promoting their products on ChatGPT using its growth marketing platform, Razorpay Engage. This collaboration will enable businesses to prepare product catalogues, manage product feeds, initiate campaigns, and monitor the performance of their ChatGPT advertising efforts.
Early adopters of this initiative include Fastrack, Traya, Tata Neu, Rivaah by Tanishq, Shaadi.com, Axis Max Life, Tanishq, Palmonas, and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), as stated by Razorpay. The company has indicated that the platform will incorporate an AI agent based on the best practices for ChatGPT advertising to create and oversee campaigns across various settings. This intelligent agent will track campaign performance and make necessary adjustments, while the team at Razorpay Engage will provide the essential human oversight.
Nitin Bawankule, who heads enterprise sales in India for OpenAI, expressed that ChatGPT is revolutionising the way individuals discover products and make decisions. Instead of sifting through a limited list of options, consumers can articulate their needs, explore various possibilities, and refine their decisions via conversation.
Rahul Kothari, COO of Razorpay, remarked that this partnership will enable businesses to experiment with ChatGPT advertising without the necessity of developing the required expertise from the ground up. This collaboration arrives at a time when OpenAI is broadening its ChatGPT advertising offerings in India, catering to brands eager to connect with consumers through conversational product discovery. Razorpay indicated that Engage will assist brands in managing the practical needs associated with this innovative advertising medium.
