Reneonix Raises Rs 1.7 Crore to Drive Circular Materials Innovation
Reneonix, a deep tech startup located in Chennai, has successfully secured Rs 1.7 crore during a pre-seed funding round, spearheaded by Inflection Point Ventures. This funding round also attracted interest from the Department of Science and Technology (Government of India), NSRCEL–IIM Bangalore, SustainTN, ITEL Foundation, along with various angel investors and grant organisations. The funds are designated for research and development, emphasising hardware innovation and material science to further enhance commercial prototypes.
About Reneonix
Established in 2023 by Iwan Richard, Karthik Sankar, Varun Pandithurai, and Mohammad Mohiyeddin, Reneonix is dedicated to creating a circular materials infrastructure aimed at the packaging sector, beginning with glass. The company provides comprehensive services including collection, sorting, processing, logistics, and reporting, assisting brands and manufacturers in the seamless integration of circular raw materials into their operations.
Current Focus and Future Plans
Presently in the pre-revenue phase, Reneonix is concentrating on pilot projects and product advancement. The startup is also exploring high-value glass derivatives, such as foam glass, to enhance monetisation opportunities.
Investment Impact
Inflection Point Ventures has invested over Rs 1,200 crore across more than 280 startups so far, including 18 investments made in Q4 2025.
