Rentomojo IPO Details
Rentomojo, a prominent furniture and appliance rental platform funded by Accel, has announced its initial public offering by filing its Red Herring Prospectus (RHP). This Bengaluru-based enterprise intends to generate approximately Rs 1,255.6 crore through the IPO, which will include a fresh issue of Rs 150 crore along with an offer-for-sale (OFS) comprising around 2.73 crore shares valued at Rs 1,105.6 crore.
IPO Price Band and Subscription Dates
The company has established a price band ranging from Rs 384 to Rs 404 per share, resulting in a valuation close to Rs 4,200 crore at the higher end. The IPO is set to open for public subscription on September 9 and will conclude on September 11, with anchor investors able to place their bids on September 8.
Existing stakeholders, including Accel India, Edelweiss, IDG Ventures India, ValueQuest, Madison India, and GMO, as well as founder Geetansh Bamania, will participate in the share sale through the OFS.
Utilisation of IPO Proceeds
Rentomojo plans to allocate the funds from the fresh issue mainly to fortify its financial position. An estimated Rs 70 crore is earmarked for debt repayment, and Rs 42.5 crore will be designated for lease rentals and license fees pertaining to its warehouses and experience stores.
According to the company’s DRHP, the largest shareholder is Accel India, holding a 20.92% stake, followed by Geetansh Bamania and Chiratae Ventures with 14.69% and 13.69%, respectively. Edelweiss Discovery Fund possesses 10.53%, while ValueQuest S.C.A.L.E Fund holds 8.92%.
Company Growth and Subscriber Base
Financially, Rentomojo has demonstrated consistent growth while maintaining profitability. Its operational revenue saw a remarkable year-on-year increase of 45.5% to reach Rs 387 crore in FY26, up from Rs 266 crore in FY25. Profit after tax soared by 142%, rising to Rs 104.2 crore from Rs 43.1 crore in the prior fiscal year. As of March 2026, Rentomojo boasted 2.54 lakh active subscribers across 29 cities, operating through a network of 20 warehouses and 82 experience stores.
