RISA Labs Secures $11.1 Million in Funding for AI in Healthcare

RISA Labs, an innovative healthtech startup focused on artificial intelligence, has successfully raised $11.1 million in its recent funding round. This round was co-led by Cencora Ventures and Optum Ventures, with participation from Oncology Ventures, Z21 Ventures, and John Simon from Ventureforgood. Notably, existing investor Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart, also contributed.

In April of the previous year, RISA Labs had secured $3.5 million during its seed funding round, primarily led by Binny Bansal and other investors. The latest funding will assist the company in scaling product development, expanding deployments within hospitals and cancer care networks, and enhancing customer onboarding throughout the US healthcare system.

Overview of RISA Labs

Founded in the United States, RISA Labs is dedicated to creating an AI operating system tailored for cancer care. The platform aims to streamline clinical and administrative workflows in oncology, which allows healthcare professionals to lessen manual tasks, enhance coordination, and accelerate treatment protocols.

Target Market: Oncology Providers

RISA Labs is concentrating on oncology providers who navigate intricate workflows that encompass diagnostics, treatment planning, approvals, and patient coordination.
