RPS Ventures Offloads Shares in Meesho for Rs 900 Crore

RPS Ventures, an initial investor in the e-commerce platform Meesho, has sold 3.86 crore shares of the Bengaluru-based company for roughly Rs 900 crore through numerous block deals on the BSE. Based on information from the stock exchange, RPS Ventures, via RPS WOS II LLC, disposed of 3,86,13,960 equity shares at Rs 233 per share, which equates to about 0.83% of Meesho’s stake. The total value of the transaction reached Rs 899.71 crore.

Impact on RPS Ventures’ Stake in Meesho

As of June 2026, RPS Ventures, established by the former managing partner of the SoftBank Vision Fund, Kabir Misra, held a 1.12% stake in Meesho. Following this sale, their holding is now estimated to have decreased to approximately 0.29%.

Buyers Involved in the Transaction

A combination of domestic and international institutional investors acquired the shares. The largest buyer was the Government of Singapore, which purchased 1.32 crore shares valued at around Rs 307.5 crore. This was followed by Mirae Asset Mutual Fund, which acquired 77.21 lakh shares worth Rs 179.9 crore. Other notable buyers included Societe Generale, BNP Paribas, Fidelity Advisor Overseas Fund, Citigroup Global Markets Singapore, Norges Bank on behalf of the Government Pension Fund Global, Ghisallo Master Fund, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore, WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund, Bajaj Life Insurance, and Edelweiss Mutual Fund.

Recent Stake Sales by Meesho’s Early Investors
