Simplismart Secures Series B Funding of Rs 97 Crore

Generative artificial intelligence startup Simplismart is set to obtain approximately Rs 97 crore (around $9 million) through a Series B funding round. This round is primarily led by Dallas Venture Capital, with support from existing backers Accel India and Shastra VC, along with new investor Micromax Informatics. The board has endorsed a resolution to issue 12,100 CCPS at an issue price of Rs 37 lakh each for capital raising, as indicated in the regulatory filings reviewed by Startup Superb.

Dallas Venture Capital will contribute Rs 44.84 crore, with Accel India following at Rs 24.09 crore. Shastra VC is expected to inject Rs 22.24 crore, while Micromax Informatics will contribute Rs 5.19 crore. Furthermore, Tarusa Capital and Simraan Teckchandani will also be part of this funding round, each investing Rs 37 lakh.

Startup Superb estimates that following this allotment, the Bengaluru-based startup will be valued at around Rs 826 crore. The newly acquired capital will be aimed at bolstering the company’s long-term growth initiatives, covering business expansion, working capital needs, and other general corporate objectives.

Company Background and Offerings

Simplismart, established in 2022 by ex-Oracle and Google engineers Amritanshu Jain and Devansh Ghatak, creates AI infrastructure software that allows enterprises to deploy, manage, and optimise production-grade AI models without coding. Its inference-first platform enhances GPU utilisation and decreases inference expenses across various workloads, including large language models (LLMs), vision language models, speech recognition, and image and video creation.

The startup serves a diverse clientele including Tata 1mg, Mindtickle, InVideo, and Dashtoon, and has allied with Nvidia to make its AI inference platform accessible on the chipmaker’s infrastructure.

Investment Landscape and Future Prospects

In May 2026, The Economic Times reported Nvidia was in discussions to spearhead a $20 million funding round for Simplismart. Earlier, in October 2024, the startup successfully raised $7 million.

Post-allotment, Accel India will retain the title of the largest institutional shareholder in Simplismart, holding a 19.92% stake. Dallas Venture Capital and Shastra VC Fund II will possess shares of 6.23% and 2.69%, respectively, while Micromax Informatics will control 0.63% of the enterprise.

Currently, Simplismart has yet to generate considerable operating revenue. Its operating revenue surged to Rs 1.22 crore in FY25, up from Rs 61 lakh in FY24, but its losses have increased to Rs 9.02 crore from Rs 67 lakh in the previous financial year.
