Smartworks Reports Strong Financial Performance in Q4 FY26
Smartworks has reported its financial results for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026. The managed office space provider has posted profits for several consecutive quarters and successfully exceeded the Rs 500 crore revenue mark during this quarter.
Quarterly Revenue Performance
Smartworks’ revenue from operations surged by 45% year-on-year, reaching Rs 520 crore in Q4 FY26 compared to Rs 358 crore in Q4 FY25, according to the unaudited consolidated financial statements submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The majority of Smartworks’ revenue is generated through the development, design, and licensing of serviced office spaces, in addition to fit-out solutions and other related services. The firm also earned Rs 13 crore in non-operating income, bringing its total income for the quarter to Rs 533 crore, an increase from Rs 362 crore in Q4 FY25.
Annual Revenue Overview
For the complete financial year ending March 2026, Smartworks reported total revenue of Rs 1,796 crore, marking a growth of over 30% from Rs 1,374 crore in FY24. The company also achieved profitability with a net profit of Rs 10.5 crore, recovering from a loss of Rs 63 crore in FY25.
Expenditure Analysis
In terms of expenses, depreciation related to leases proved to be the largest outlay at Rs 234 crore, followed closely by operating expenses of Rs 139 crore. Finance costs, employee benefits, and various overheads contributed to Smartworks’ total expenditure of Rs 510 crore, compared to Rs 367 crore in the same quarter the previous year.
Profitability Insights
With revenue growth outpacing the increase in expenses, Smartworks managed to sustain profitability for multiple quarters, reporting a profit of Rs 16.6 crore, in contrast to a loss of Rs 8.3 crore during the same quarter last year.
