splitStore by super.money Revolutionises Shopping with Instalments

splitStore by super.money offers an innovative in-app marketplace where users can shop across multiple brands while paying in zero interest instalments. This Bengaluru-based fintech platform has introduced a feature that merges shopping with embedded credit, enabling qualified users to split payments without needing a credit card, incurring processing fees, or paying interest. Currently, this offering is available to a select group of users, with plans for a broader rollout in progress.

As stated by the company, splitStore provides access to over 60 lakh products spanning categories such as smartphones, fashion, electronics, appliances, beauty, fitness, home, and furniture. Brands featured on this platform include Apple, Nothing, Nike, Adidas, Marshall, Mokobara, and Snitch, with deliveries managed through Flipkart’s logistics network.

How Users Access Instalment Payments

Users can access the instalment feature after successfully completing KYC verification, with credit provided by regulated lending partners.

Comments from the Leadership

Prakash Sikaria, founder and CEO of super.money, mentioned that the next major development following UPI is revolutionising the shopping experience in India by making affordability an effortless aspect of the checkout process.

Expanding Beyond UPI Payments

With the introduction of splitStore, super.money has broadened its services beyond UPI payments, venturing into commerce and embedded credit. The company currently offers UPI payments, secured RuPay credit cards, checkout financing, and personal loans via its app.

Progress and Data Insights

According to recent data from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), super.money ranked as the fifth largest UPI app by transaction volume in June, trailing behind PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, and Navi. The splitStore feature has undergone testing with a limited user group over the recent weeks in anticipation of the wider rollout.
