On-Demand LPG Cylinder Delivery Now Available with Instamart and HPCL

On-demand LPG cylinder delivery has been introduced by Instamart in partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). This makes Instamart the first quick commerce platform in India to provide such a service. The initial rollout will occur in Bengaluru, where users can order the newly launched HPCL 10 kg composite LPG cylinder through the Instamart application. Additionally, the platform will feature HPCL’s 5 kg metal LPG cylinder.

Convenient Access for All Consumers

The companies have stated that customers do not require an existing domestic LPG connection to buy the cylinders, making this service accessible for students, working professionals, and smaller households. In this model, first-time purchases will be classified as new cylinder acquisitions, while repeat orders can be arranged by returning the empty cylinder during the delivery process.

Efficient Order Fulfilment and Safety Compliance

Orders will be managed through HPCL’s authorised distributor network, with deliveries carried out by trained staff in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. First-time buyers will also need to undergo identity verification as part of the ordering procedure.

Established in 2020, Instamart operates across over 130 cities and provides more than 50,000 products across various categories. For HPCL, this partnership introduces a new distribution channel for LPG products and enhances the availability of its newly launched HP Navya composite cylinder.
