Taghash Launches AI Agent for Fund Operations

Taghash Launches AI Agent for Fund Operations

Taghash, a fund operations platform, has introduced an AI agent on WhatsApp that allows teams in venture capital and private equity to efficiently access fund data and start operational tasks through conversational prompts. This launch is part of the company’s broader initiative towards a headless software experience, enabling users to engage with the platform without needing a traditional dashboard.

The AI agent, integrated with Taghash’s data and workflows, allows users to easily gather information regarding deals, portfolios, funds, and limited partners (LPs). It offers assistance with operational tasks such as identifying outstanding follow-ups, discovering shared connections for LP introductions, drafting reminder emails, and initiating actions through WhatsApp. Any outgoing actions necessitate user review and approval prior to execution.

As stated by the company, this product enhances the functionalities of Taghash MCP, which was launched earlier this year. The MCP facilitates secure connections between AI applications and the data and workflows available within the platform.

This latest development follows the introduction of Taghash Services a few months ago, which focuses on assisting venture capital and private equity firms in managing fund operations and ensuring regulatory compliance. This service encompasses fund setup, investor onboarding, capital calls, reporting, and compliance activities.

Founded by former professionals in venture capital, Taghash provides software for fund administration and portfolio management. The company is progressively expanding its product offerings with AI-driven tools aimed at automating workflows and minimising manual tasks throughout the fund lifecycle.

Earlier in July 2025, Taghash unveiled its AI-integrated Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, which permits secure connectivity between live fund data and AI platforms including Claude, OpenAI, and Microsoft Copilot.
