Credfix: AI-First Debt Resolution Platform Secures Rs 16.1 Crore

Credfix, the innovative AI-first debt resolution platform, has successfully raised Rs 16.1 crore in a seed funding round led by Tanglin Venture Partners, with contributions from Stargazer. Prior to this funding round, Credfix had garnered Rs 4.5 crore from K2 Capital, Invstt Trust, and several angel investors.

Utilising Fresh Capital for Growth

The newly acquired capital will help accelerate product innovation, enhance AI capabilities, and expand borrower support throughout India, as mentioned in a recent press release by Credfix.

The Genesis of Credfix

Founded in 2025 by Ranjan Agarwal, Neeraj Kulkarni, and Ayush Kedia, Credfix serves as an AI-driven financial recovery platform that aids borrowers in comprehending their debts, evaluating repayment strategies, and managing communications with lenders. Its service offerings encompass debt evaluation, loan resolution, loan consolidation, and AI-managed legal support.

AI Solutions Offered

The platform boasts three primary AI-enhanced solutions: Risi, an AI financial assistant; Neytra, a protective AI call feature; and an AI legal assistant. Risi is designed to help borrowers grasp their financial obligations and consider resolution avenues, whereas Neytra aids in managing recovery-related calls. The legal assistant facilitates understanding of legal notices, assists in drafting responses for review, and outlines potential next steps.

Supporting Borrowers Throughout the Debt Resolution Lifecycle

Credfix aims to provide comprehensive support to borrowers during various stages of the debt resolution process, from early indicators of financial difficulty to structured resolution and financial recovery. The platform enables users to evaluate their financial responsibilities, explore available solutions, engage with lenders, and interpret legal documents.

Current User Base and Market Trends

The startup proudly claims to assist over 2 lakh borrowers, collectively managing more than Rs 4,000 crore in outstanding debt. Approximately 40% of its clientele resides in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The debt resolution and collections sector in India has witnessed an increasing embrace of technology.

Industry Developments

Notably, FREED, a borrower-centric debt relief platform, successfully raised Rs 60 crore in February 2026, driven by Aavishkaar Capital. Furthermore, Credgenics has secured $50 million to provide technological support for collections, litigation management, and online dispute resolution.

In recent developments, CreditNirvana, a subsidiary of Perfios, launched its agentic AI platform Maestro for debt collections in November 2025, followed by an integrated AI suite for collections and lending in October 2026. Additionally, CredResolve, an AI-powered debt collections infrastructure startup, secured pre-Series A funding led by Merak Ventures in April 2026 to expand its multilingual AI and voice capabilities.
