Taxi’na Secures Rs 1.5 Crore for Mobility Solutions

Taxi’na, a pioneering mobility solutions start-up, has successfully raised Rs 1.5 crore in its latest funding round led by Navyug Global Ventures. This funding is set to enhance its innovative and sustainable ride-hailing model, which aims to create equality between drivers and passengers, while also fostering a community of content micro-entrepreneurs within the transportation sector.

Transforming Ride-Hailing in India

Founded by Pinku Bharathi, Taxi’na is on a mission to revolutionise India’s ride-hailing landscape through a zero-commission approach. This strategy allows drivers to retain 100% of their earnings, coupled with fair pricing structures for passengers. The platform’s focus on empowering drivers and promoting transparency is integral to building a more sustainable mobility ecosystem.

Franchise-like Opportunity for Drivers

The Chennai-based company presents a franchise-like model where drivers are required to pay a fixed monthly subscription fee. In return, they gain unlimited access to the comprehensive Taxi’na ecosystem and technology, free from hidden charges or unexpected fees. This fixed fee system eradicates the daily uncertainty regarding earnings, providing drivers with full clarity regarding their take-home pay.

Expanding Operations Across Cities

Taxi’na proudly states it is the only platform with a Letter of Intent (LOI) to provide auto services in Chennai. Currently, the platform serves an extensive network of over 45,000 drivers and more than 75,000 passengers across several cities, including Chennai, Salem, Tiruppur, Erode, and Coimbatore.
