Teachmint Achieves Remarkable Growth in FY26
Edtech startup Teachmint has demonstrated impressive growth in FY26, with operating revenue surpassing the Rs 200 crore milestone. The company also managed to reduce its losses over the year. According to the company’s audited consolidated financial documents submitted to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, operating revenue surged 2.8 times to reach Rs 205.3 crore in FY26, up from Rs 74.2 crore in FY25.
Growth Driven by Teachmint X
The expansion was primarily attributed to the popularity of Teachmint X, an AI-driven connected classroom device. Teachmint X integrates an AI teaching assistant with a digital board, allowing educators to organise lessons, develop quizzes and homework, and assess student submissions, all aligned with the curriculum and content covered in class. Furthermore, it facilitates connections between educators and learners via a unified platform that promotes classroom organisation, engagement, and monitoring of student advancement.
International Market Expansion
The company stated that Teachmint X is gaining traction in global markets, particularly in the Middle East, SAARC regions, and Southeast Asia. A company representative remarked that Teachmint X is transforming classrooms worldwide. Its AI capabilities, which are multilingual and region-specific, enable the platform to cater to various teaching and learning needs.
Improving Profitability
In terms of profitability, Teachmint reported a pre-share-based expense loss reduction of 34.2%, dropping to Rs 28.9 crore in FY26 from Rs 43.9 crore in FY25. The company recorded share-based expenses amounting to Rs 9.9 crore during the same period.
Enhanced Operating Efficiency
Additionally, the company experienced enhanced operating leverage. While its revenues increased nearly 2.8 times, operational expenses, excluding the cost of goods sold, only rose by 11.6% in FY26. Teachmint anticipates further improvements in operating leverage for FY27 as it aims to continue scaling its operations.
Acknowledgement and Future Plans
Teachmint was recognised as India’s leading interactive flat panel brand by market share for the period of January to June 2026, according to the global market research firm DISCIEN. The company also has plans to expand its reach across India and into international markets while further integrating AI into teaching processes.
