Albatross Energetics, a leading deep tech company, has successfully raised $1.05 million, approximately Rs 10 crore, in a pre-Series A funding round led by Transition VC. The startup, based in Mumbai, had previously acquired Rs 1.3 crore in 2024 from Social Alpha and SINE.

In addition, it will support the expansion of commercial deployments across various industrial sectors, enhance the engineering and quality teams, and expedite research and development efforts, as stated by Albatross Energetics in a press release.

Founded in 2021 by Sudarsan M S and Srihari B, Albatross Energetics specializes in creating energy efficient air conditioning and dehumidification systems tailored for industrial uses. The company employs proprietary liquid desiccant technology to extract moisture directly from the air, which leads to a decrease in energy consumption needed for humidity control.
