EV two-wheeler registrations in India exceeded 1.93 lakh in July 2026. TVS Motor solidified its position at the top by surpassing 50,000 registrations, while Ola Electric and Ather Energy experienced a decline in their sales.
Market Leaders in July
According to the recent Vahan data, TVS Motor dominated the EV two-wheeler market with 52,538 registrations in July, securing a market share of 27.15%. The company achieved a month-on-month growth of 10.8%, adding 5,125 registrations compared to June.
Bajaj Auto’s Performance
Bajaj Auto held onto the second position with 43,607 registrations and a market share of 22.53% in July. The registrations saw a slight increase from 43,504 units in June.
Ather Energy’s Position
Ather Energy maintained third place with 28,819 registrations and a market share of 14.89% in July. However, the company faced an 8.3% decline month-on-month, losing 2,616 registrations compared to June.
Hero MotoCorp’s Rankings
Hero MotoCorp ranked fourth with 21,174 registrations, achieving a market share of 10.94% in July. The company reported a modest decline of 3.3% from the previous month.
Ola Electric’s Setback
Ola Electric fell to fifth place with 13,170 registrations and a market share of 6.80% in July. The company faced a significant drop, with sales decreasing 19% month on month, translating to a loss of 3,079 units from 16,249 registrations in June.
Other Noteworthy Performers
Greaves Electric Mobility followed with 9,701 registrations and a 5.01% market share, also experiencing a sales drop of 11.3% compared to June.
Fastest-Growing Players
Among the rapidly growing companies in the top 10, BGauss reported the highest month-on-month growth at 33.9%, with registrations reaching 5,324 units. River Mobility also showed a notable increase of 24.8%, climbing to 5,554 units.
Other Contributors
Simple Energy recorded an 11.2% month-on-month growth, reaching 1,532 registrations in July. Lectrix EV successfully entered the top 10, increasing its registrations by 22.8% over June to reach 1,335 units.
