Ultraviolette Electric Mobility has successfully raised $45 million in its Series E funding round, with participation from Zoho Corporation and the Italy-based investment firm Lingotto. The Bengaluru-based company has chosen not to disclose the total size of the round or its valuation. Earlier this August, Ultraviolette attracted $21 million from TDK Ventures as part of its ongoing fundraising efforts. Startup Superb had initially reported on this funding round in May 2025.
Use of Funds
The newly acquired capital will be channelled towards enhancing the production of its existing models, the F77 electric sports bike and the newly launched X47 crossover. Moreover, it will facilitate the advancement of the company’s upcoming product lines, internally referred to as Shockwave and Tesseract.
Expansion Plans
With the electric two-wheeler market becoming increasingly competitive, Ultraviolette is also broadening its presence both domestically and internationally. The company currently operates in 30 cities across India and aims to expand to 100 cities by mid-2026. Additionally, it has started sales of the F77 in the UK, thereby increasing its market presence to 12 countries throughout Europe.

Ultraviolette has reportedly raised a total of $145 million in funding so far, with TVS Motor Company and Mudhal Partners being its principal investors. According to Vahan data, Ultraviolette sold approximately 1,168 vehicles in 2025. Various sources indicate that the company’s operational revenue reached Rs 32.3 crore in FY25, a significant increase from Rs 15 crore in FY24, while its net loss rose by 88% to Rs 116 crore in FY25 from Rs 61.6 crore in FY24.
