Uni Seoul Raises Rs 35 Crore in Series A Funding
Pune-based impulse lifestyle retail brand Uni Seoul has successfully secured Rs 35 crore (around $3.7 million) in its Series A funding round. This financing was spearheaded by Riverwalk Holdings and Sauce, with additional participation from Panthera Peak Ventures and several existing angel investors.

Founded by Gaurav Karmani and Mohit Khurana, Uni Seoul operates within the impulse lifestyle retail sector by offering a diverse range of products. Their offerings include plush toys, home and living items, stationery, bags, travel accessories, beauty and personal care products, as well as gifting options.
Expansion Plans
The company intends to utilise the freshly acquired funds to enhance its offline retail presence, improve supply chain logistics, broaden its private-label product range, and introduce its products on quick commerce platforms. Uni Seoul aims to grow its retail locations from 15 to over 50 in the short term, with a vision of achieving 500 retail touchpoints over the next five years.
Current Operations
Currently, Uni Seoul operates 15 retail stores in cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kochi, and Nashik. The brand features over 1,000 SKUs, with prices ranging from Rs 99 to Rs 2,999.
Market Insights
The company reports that India’s gifting market was estimated to be valued at approximately $75 billion in 2024. Furthermore, the rapid growth of quick commerce is presenting new opportunities for impulse-driven lifestyle and gifting products.
