InstaHelp Achieves Major Milestone with 1 Million Monthly Bookings
InstaHelp, the housekeeping service from Gurugram-based Urban Company, has successfully surpassed 1 million bookings in March, even with three days remaining in the month. The company stated that this achievement follows a significant uptick, with over 50,000 daily orders recorded in February. InstaHelp is celebrated as the fastest-growing segment in the company’s history.
Initially launched in major cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Pune, InstaHelp provides an array of on-demand housekeeping services including cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and meal preparation. The company assures fulfilment timelines of just 10–15 minutes from the moment of booking.
Abhiraj Singh Bhal, the CEO and co-founder of Urban Company, expressed that the growth trajectory of InstaHelp underscores the increasing trust that consumers place in the platform for immediate and everyday needs.
The swift expansion of InstaHelp is also reflected in Urban Company’s financial performance. In Q3 FY26, Urban Company disclosed a consolidated net loss of Rs 21 crore along with an adjusted EBITDA loss of Rs 17 crore, with investments in the InstaHelp vertical being a primary factor.
The instant home services market is experiencing heightened competition, akin to quick commerce. Rivals such as Snabbit and Pronto are broadening their footprint. According to ET data, Snabbit is estimated to have achieved approximately 4.8 to 5 lakh (0.5 million) monthly orders in February, while Pronto reported around 3.4 lakh (0.34 million) orders.
Market share analytics from the previous month revealed that InstaHelp dominated the sector with an impressive 49.2%, trailed by Snabbit at 36.4% and Pronto at 14.3%.
On the funding side, Pronto has recently succeeded in raising $25 million in a Series B round. Meanwhile, Snabbit is reportedly aiming to secure between $50 million and $60 million in its upcoming fundraising round.
