Agritech Startup Verdant Impact Secures Million-Dollar Seed Funding
Agritech startup Verdant Impact has successfully raised $3 million in a seed funding round, spearheaded by Unicorn India Ventures. This funding round also attracted contributions from Infynyte Club, Yash Kotak, Alok Soni, and a-IDEA NAARM. The funding will be utilised for expanding the team, penetrating markets in North and North-East India, enhancing research and development, and improving the Pashu.AI platform. Additionally, the startup plans to upgrade its technology infrastructure through blockchain integration.
About Verdant Impact
Founded by Manish Kumar, Verdant Impact focuses on developing AI-driven solutions tailored for livestock management and bovine genetics. Their flagship platform, Pashu.AI, facilitates livestock health monitoring, genetic tracking, and farm management. Moreover, they provide Bharat Pashudhan, an IoT-enabled device designed for comprehensive herd monitoring.
Growth and Future Plans
The startup proudly asserts that it has assisted over 600,000 farmers and has achieved an impressive 8X revenue growth since its last funding round in March 2025. Verdant Impact aims to attain Rs 100 crore in revenue by FY26 while continuing to operate profitably.
Innovative Initiatives
Verdant Impact is also actively engaged in projects such as the India Methane Mission, focusing on mitigating methane emissions from dairy farming. This initiative aims to enable carbon credit mechanisms for farmers, further solidifying the startup’s commitment to sustainable agriculture.
