Wint Wealth Secures Rs 120 Crore in Series B Funding

Wint Wealth has successfully raised Rs 120 crore, which is approximately $13.3 million, during its Series B funding round, led by Vertex Ventures. This funding round is notable as it is the first major fundraising effort for the Bengaluru-based startup in over three and a half years.

Details of the Series B Funding

The board of Wint Wealth has approved a special resolution to issue 94,047 Series B compulsory convertible preference shares at an issue price of Rs 12,804 each, aiming to accumulate Rs 120 crore or $13.3 million, according to filings from the Registrar of Companies. Vertex Ventures is set to lead this round with an investment amounting to Rs 77.52 crore. Other investors, including Unitary Fund, Eight Roads Ventures, and 3one4 Capital, will contribute Rs 18.7 crore, Rs 13 crore, and Rs 8.16 crore, respectively. Additionally, Rainmatter, the incubation arm of Zerodha, is scheduled to invest Rs 3 crore in this Series B funding.

Utilisation of Funds

According to the filings, Wint Wealth plans to use the funds raised for capital expenditure, marketing initiatives, and general corporate objectives. Based on estimates provided by Startup Superb, the wealth management startup is raising this new capital at a post-money valuation of approximately Rs 707 crore, or nearly $80 million.

Future Financial Developments

There is potential for Wint Wealth to secure additional capital as part of the Series B round, which may influence its valuation and shareholding structure. Following this round, Vertex Ventures is expected to hold a 10.96% stake in Wint Wealth, while other stakeholders will include 3one4 Capital with 8.54%, Unitary Fund with 8.32%, Rainmatter holding 2.55%, and ERVI Technology, a branch of Eight Roads Ventures, with 1.84%, according to the filings.

Previous Fundraising Efforts

Wint Wealth has been reportedly aiming to raise $20 million in its Series B round. Prior to this funding, the company raised around $22 million, equivalent to Rs 173 crore, from investors such as Eight Roads Ventures, Zerodha, 3one4 Capital, and Unitary Fund. This was preceded by a $17 million Series A round, with one tranche initially reported by Startup Superb.

Current Financial Position

Wint Wealth is yet to submit its FY25 financial figures. In FY24, the company recorded operating revenue of Rs 17.2 crore alongside a loss of Rs 18 crore.

Wealth Management Sector Trends

Funding activity in the wealth management sector has remained robust in 2025, with Wealthy most recently raising $14.5 million in a round spearheaded by Bertelsmann India Investments. Other recent funding deals in this sector include Dezerv’s $40 million all-primary raise, Stable Money’s $20 million round, and Syfe’s $80 million Series C. Additionally, Neo is in the concluding stages of securing $44 million across two tranches, a detail that was first highlighted exclusively by Startup Superb last month.
