Investment by ServiceNow Ventures for TMRW
TMRW, a project under the Aditya Birla Group, is preparing to secure Rs 437 crore (approximately $50 million) from ServiceNow Ventures. This funding will facilitate the growth of its collection of digital-first fashion brands and leverage the investor’s artificial intelligence platform to enhance its operational capabilities and customer experiences. Launched in mid-2022, TMRW features brands such as Bewakoof, WROGN, The Indian Garage, and Nobero, primarily catering to Gen Z and Millennials.
Strategic Investments in Fashion Brands
In June of the previous year, TMRW made a significant move by investing $15 million in the men’s apparel brand WROGN, which resulted in acquiring a 16% stake and valuing the Bengaluru-based brand at roughly $105 million. The enhancement of operational capabilities will be a priority, as TMRW plans to incorporate ServiceNow’s AI tools to bolster speed-to-market, develop targeted product assortments, and improve customer interactions across both online and offline platforms.
Goals and Financial Performance
Established by Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail (ABFRL) three years ago, TMRW aims to acquire and nurture a total of 30 brands in its sector. During the June quarter, ABFRL reported a revenue of Rs 1,831 crore alongside a net loss of Rs 234 crore. In contrast, TMRW witnessed its revenue rise by 38% to Rs 197 crore for the same quarter; however, its EBITDA loss also saw a year-on-year increase of 37% to Rs 63 crore.
