Confido Health Secures $12.5 Million in Series A Funding
Healthtech startup Confido Health has successfully raised $12.5 million in a Series A funding round spearheaded by Z47, joined by ongoing investors Together Fund and Blume Ventures. This funding follows a prior $10 million Series A round that was announced in September. The startup previously garnered $3 million in a seed round led by Together Fund in December 2024. The funds raised are intended to enhance its AI platform dedicated to healthcare operations, as indicated in a recent press release.
Established in 2022 by Chetan Reddy and Vichar Shroff, Confido Health creates AI agents to handle tasks including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and care coordination. These AI agents seamlessly integrate with existing healthcare systems using no-code deployment, boasting a setup time of under five minutes.
Confido Health mentioned that its platform works with over 50 systems, including electronic health records, practice management, phone, billing, and fax systems, allowing healthcare providers to maintain their current technology infrastructure.
Operating across more than 1,500 care locations—mainly independent practice groups—across 27 states, the company serves nearly 3,200 providers. Confido Health noted that one in 50 patients can now connect with their healthcare providers via its AI agents.
The platform utilises patient details, referral information, and payer requirements gathered during the intake process to oversee subsequent tasks like outreach and scheduling. The company emphasised that a single interaction can initiate multiple workflows, including referrals, appointments, prescription refills, and payments.
Since its last funding round, Confido Health has reported an impressive 15 times growth, achieving AI handle rates exceeding 95% for essential end-to-end office workflows. Additionally, the platform claims to add workforce capacity equivalent to three to five full-time employees on average within three months following deployment.
The company is focusing on specialisations such as ophthalmology, optometry, physical therapy, dental care, primary care, and community care.
