Acer Super ZX Series: Affordable Innovation in India

Acer has unveiled two new smartphones in the Super ZX series in India, namely the Acer Super ZX and the Acer Super ZX Pro.

Acer Super ZX: Value-Driven Characteristics

The Acer Super ZX is designed as a budget-friendly option aimed at the under-₹15,000 market. It boasts a stunning 6.78″ FHD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs on the MediaTek 6300 chipset and features a triple-camera arrangement on the back, led by a remarkable 64MP Sony LYTIA sensor.

This model comes with rapid 33W fast charging and is available in various configurations, beginning with 4GB RAM coupled with 128GB storage and extending to 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Customers can choose from three colours: Black, Blue, and Green.

Acer Super ZX Pro: Premium Features at a Mid-Range Cost

The Acer Super ZX Pro is marketed as a “flagship killer” aimed at the mid-range segment, competing against smartphones typically priced over ₹25,000. This variant includes a 6.67″ AMOLED display, an IP64-rated frosted glass back, along with a robust metal frame. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset.

Camera features consist of a 50MP primary rear camera equipped with OIS using the Sony IMX 882 sensor, complemented by a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a bokeh sensor. Furthermore, the front camera also stands at 50MP and includes AI functionalities, which support full HD video recording.

The Pro version is equipped with a substantial 5000mAh battery and offers Dolby Atmos audio for an immersive sound experience. Configuration options start with 8GB of RAM (inclusive of virtual RAM) and extend to a maximum of 12GB + 12GB, with storage choices ranging from 128GB to 512GB. Colour selections encompass Black, Purple, and Light Blue.

The launch of these smartphones is managed by Indkal Technologies under the Acer branding in India. Anand Dubey, CEO of Indkal Technologies, mentioned that both devices are set to excel in camera technology and sensor capabilities while also being the fastest in their respective categories. He noted that the products are specifically crafted and tested for the Indian market to ensure optimal usability.

Furthermore, Dubey shared that Indkal intends to broaden its product range in the future.
