Project Moonlight: A Conversational AI Assistant

Firefly Boards and New Features
The AI-powered ideation space, Firefly Boards, now features Rotate Object for converting 2D visuals into 3D, improved PDF exporting, and bulk image downloading to enhance collaboration. Additionally, users can take advantage of Presets for immediate style generation and Generative Text Edit to modify text within images directly.
Powerful Tools for Video, Sound, and Image Generation
The latest release of Firefly brings a remarkable array of tools tailored for video, audio, and image creation:
- Generate Soundtrack (Public Beta): An AI music generator that delivers fully licensed, studio-quality tracks in seconds.
- Generate Speech (Public Beta): A text-to-speech solution that produces authentic voiceovers in various languages, utilising Firefly Speech Model and ElevenLabs technology.
- AI Video Editor (Private Beta): A multitrack, timeline-based editor enabling creators to merge generative and captured content, trim clips, add effects, and edit using transcripts or visual controls.
- Prompt to Edit: A user-friendly image editing interface allowing descriptions of visual modifications in everyday language, driven by Firefly Image Model 5 and partner models from Google, OpenAI, and Black Forest Labs.

The newly released Firefly Image Model 5 (Public Beta) stands as Adobe’s most sophisticated image generation platform yet. Custom AI Models for Unique Styles
Firefly Custom Models (Private Beta) enable creators to develop their own AI models tailored to generate content reflecting their personal or brand identity. These Custom Models remain private by default and can only be shared with explicit permission from their creator.

Adobe aims to maintain Firefly as the most accessible AI ecosystem in the creative sector, now providing access to premier third-party models such as Topaz Bloom, ElevenLabs Multilingual v2, Runway’s Gen-4, Google Veo 3.1, and OpenAI GPT Image. Availability and Access
- Firefly Image Model 5, Generate Soundtrack, and Generate Speech are currently in public beta.
