Asus Launches New Gaming Laptops with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 in India

Asus has introduced two exciting new gaming laptops: the TUF Gaming F16 and the ROG Strix G16, both equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card. Additionally, there has been an update to the existing 2024 ROG Strix G16 (G614) with the same GPU, enhancing its selection of high-performance gaming laptops in India.

ROG Strix G16 (G615)

The ROG Strix G16 (G615) features an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor alongside the NVIDIA RTX 5050 with 8GB of memory. This laptop boasts a 16-inch 2.5K 240Hz anti-glare ROG Nebula display, offering 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy and a brightness of 500 nits. Additional specifications include 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a spacious 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, a long-lasting 90WHrs battery, and a four-zone RGB backlit keyboard. The pricing for this model is set at ₹1,59,990, and it is available through various channels, both offline and online, including Flipkart and the official Asus e-store.

Updated ROG Strix G16 (G614)

The enhanced ROG Strix G16 (G614) is now powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, providing up to 16 TOPS AI performance, delivered in combination with the RTX 5050 GPU. It features a 165Hz FHD+ anti-glare display with 100% sRGB colour coverage, a per-key RGB keyboard, and a dedicated Copilot key for seamless AI integration. This model is priced at ₹1,44,990.

TUF Gaming F16

The TUF Gaming F16 is designed for users seeking an affordable yet reliable gaming experience. It is equipped with an Intel Core i5-13450HX processor, RTX 5050 GPU, a 16-inch FHD+ 165Hz display, and a backlit keyboard that supports Copilot. With a robust 90WHrs battery, this laptop’s starting price is ₹1,24,990.

Arnold Su, Vice President of Consumer and Gaming PC at ASUS India, mentioned that the introduction of RTX 5050-powered models in both the ROG and TUF series ensures high-performance gaming, AI compatibility, and immersive visuals are available across various price segments and applications.

All three laptops will be available through major offline retailers, including Asus Exclusive Stores, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, and authorized partners. Online sales will take place on platforms such as Flipkart, Amazon, and the official ASUS website.
