JEE Main Mock Tests by Google – Enhance Your Exam Preparation
Google is broadening its AI education initiative by introducing free Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main practice tests powered by Gemini. Last week, on January 22, the company revealed that Gemini would also support students preparing for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), marking an extension of resources for aspiring engineers in India.
Google highlights that Gemini will deliver high-quality, comprehensive mock exams that closely align with the current NTA exam formats. The tests are developed using reliable study resources from well-known Indian educational platforms, including PhysicsWallah and Careers360.
Chris Phillips, Vice President of Education at Google, expressed enthusiasm about the potential to enhance learning results. He indicated that improving personalised, active learning through robust collaboration with the education sector would ensure that AI serves as a responsible, teacher-focused equaliser.
To engage with the JEE Main mock tests, users only need to instruct Gemini by stating their desire to take a mock test. The AI will prepare a tailored set of questions based on the most recent exam structure.
In a structure similar to the actual exam, each mock test comprises 25 questions, distributed evenly across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with a total time allowance of three hours. Additionally, students have the option to establish a personalised time limit for their practice sessions.
Furthermore, Gemini will offer insights into individual strengths and weaknesses, enabling students to concentrate on areas needing improvement. The AI assistant is also capable of delivering correct responses accompanied by explanations, fostering a deeper comprehension of complex subjects. In addition, it will assist in generating a customised study plan tailored to the student’s performance in the mock tests.
Google has noted that the JEE Main preparation tools, paired with the Canvas feature for crafting study guides and quizzes, will soon be available in AI Mode within the Search platform.
