About Vama
Established in 2020 by Acharya Dev and Manu Jain, Vama offers devotees access to a range of temple services, astrology consultations, and spiritual products via its platform. Approximately 70% of Vama’s revenue is generated from temple services, with astrology and the Vama Mall accounting for the remainder.
Expansion Opportunities
Dainik Bhaskar’s extensive presence in Hindi-speaking markets could significantly enhance Vama’s growth potential and improve its network with temples and other service providers. After the latest allocation, Dainik Bhaskar’s family office now holds just under 6.98% of Vama. Co-founders Manu Jain and Acharya Dev, also known as Sandeep Chandra Tiwari, hold stakes of 14.44% and 14.43%, respectively.
The company had previously raised Rs 22 crore (approximately $2.47 million) in a Pre-Series A funding round, which was led by Wavemaker Partners in September 2025, with contributions from 500 Global, Sadev Ventures, and other backers.
