Dolby Cinema is poised to enhance the film experience in India this year, featuring installations in select venues. The six initial cinema exhibitors incorporating Dolby Cinema screens include City Pride in Pune, Allu Cineplex in Hyderabad, LA Cinema in Trichy, AMB Cinemas in Bengaluru, EVM Cinemas in Kochi, and G Cineplex in Ulikkal.

Dolby has guaranteed that the design of the Dolby Cinema auditoriums allows every seat to provide an optimal viewing and listening experience. Michael Archer, who holds the position of Vice President of Worldwide Cinema Sales and Partner Management at Dolby Laboratories, remarked that the introduction of Dolby Cinema in India represents a significant milestone for the nation’s entertainment industry. Expanding Influence of Dolby Worldwide
Since its debut in 2014, Dolby Cinema has grown to partner with 35 exhibitors across 14 countries. Dolby’s commitment to India encompasses the creation of 24 Dolby Atmos theatrical mix facilities, along with a Dolby Vision colour grading facility located at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. This facility is designed to equip Indian filmmakers with state-of-the-art resources to elevate visual storytelling.
